Pre-show hype videos feature The Acclaimed, Andretti & Martin, Bullet Club Gold, and Ricky Starks. After the intro, the commentators greet the audience before switching to the ring.
In the ring: Tony Schiavone greeted Owen Hart Cup winner Ricky Starks. As Starks makes his way to the ring, fireworks included follows a video recap of his controversial match finish against CM Punk and his disrespectful behavior towards Jushin Thunder Liger. Schiavone confronts Starks directly about the controversial ending, while the audience conveys to Starks that he deserves it. After showing off his Louis Vuitton bag, he mentions that it doesn’t matter how he did it, what matters is that it was done and he’s the winner. After brushing off a question about Jushin Thunder Liger, he says that while he appreciates fans’ feelings, he doesn’t want to be a pillar. The Pillars never won the Owen Hart Cup, he did.
CM Punk comes out and gets mixed, rather negative reactions. Punk isn’t mad at Starks, in fact he’s a little proud of him. Punk won’t pretend he never cheated. He can live with the loss, but he asks Starks if he can live with the fact that he couldn’t beat Punk without cheating.
Punk wants to leave, but Starks explains that his Vuitton bag is just as empty as the red bag Punk is carrying. Punk comes back and stands in Stark’s way and then compares him to MJF. Punk then proclaims himself the Real World Champion before TNT Champion Luchasaurus & Christian Cage enter the scene. Cage says they don’t want to stay in New Jersey any longer than necessary, so he asks a question. What kind of man carries around a title he hasn’t won?
Cage wants to leave, but Darby Allin – the Royal Rampage winner, comes out. He addresses Starks and Punk before telling Luchasaurus that he will win the TNT title at All Out in Chicago. Allin proposes a tag team match pitting Allin and Punk against Starks and Cage. Schiavone adds that Khan made the match official.
Video: Andrade El Idolo has been banned from the arena as officials want to make sure he doesn’t disrupt tonight’s Trios title match.

Bullet Club Gold: Jay White & Juice Robinson (w/Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) def. Darius Martin & Action Andretti after White’s Blade Runner to Andretti – The Gunns created a distraction which allowed Jay White to push Darius Martin into the cordons (10:20)
After the match, the Gunns get in the ring and beat Andretti and Martin down.
The commentators look down with video on Willow Nightingale, who defeated Ruby Soho to win last week’s Owen Hart Cup tournament and then lost to Athena in a ROH Women’s Championship match in the main event of the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view.
Before the next match: Miro is attacked from behind by his opponent Nick Comorto as he moves in. Comoroto throws Miro against the barricade before rolling him into the ring.

Video review of FTR’s numerous title wins throughout AEW‘s career so far.
Before the next match, we see a recap of the events surrounding Andrade El Idolo’s mask, which is now in the hands of the House of Black. As The House of Black reach the ring, their opponents exit. Max Caster’s latest rap is about, among other things, drugs in the White House and how HOB’s reaction is lukewarm. Buddy Matthews storms out and attacks Caster to finish his rap.

House of Black: Buddy Matthews, Brody King & Malakai Black (w/ Julia Hart) besiegten The Acclaimed: Max Caster & Anthony Bowens und „Daddy A$$“ Billy Gunn nach dem Knockout Kick von Blade gegen Gunn (4:35)
After the match, Black kneels and whispers something in Gunn’s ear before exiting the ring. As House of Black make their way backstage, Gunn begins to unlace his boots and the audience begins to chant “YOU’VE STILL GOT IT” – Caster and Bowens watch in bewilderment.

Gunn stands up and leaves his boots in the middle of the ring. Caster and Bowens try to talk to him, but he walks past them both and makes his way to the stage as the crowd yells “SCISSOR ME, DADDY.” As Bowens steps into the ring and grabs his boots, the commentary team wonders if this is the last time we saw Gunn wrestle at AEW.
Below is a video recap of Royal Rampage where Darby Allin won a TNT Championship match for AEW All Out.
In the ring: Tony Schiavone greets FTR in the ring. Wheeler talks open affairs with various teams – Aussie Open, The Acclaimed, the Young Bucks – but first they need to focus on their next opponents MJF & Adam Cole. In his opinion, Adam Cole shouldn’t have confidence in MJF. Harwood tells a story about his father who urged him to get a job when he was a teenager. He was ridiculed by wealthy kids who got their hands on money. He believes Cole and MJF are taking the tag team titles as a joke, as evidenced by the comedy and dance off. He sacrificed his body to make FTR the best tag team in the world and there will be no more comedy next week. He’ll do to Cole and MJF what he should have done to these kids as a teenager:
